Hi girls! Been a long time since I've been on here! So me and DH have decided that we want a baby... WE FINALLY AGREE IT'S THE RIGHT TIME! So that being said AF was almost 3 months late so she started me on provera and clomid to ovulate.. Turns out I actually do have PCOS.. Feeling pretty confident because the last time I got pregnant was on clomid..

My new OBGYN told me probably the reason why I miscarried my last pregnancy was because my progesterone levels were to low to hold a pregnancy... So she said once you do get a positive test call me and we'll need to test your levels and maybe prescribe you something so your progesterone levels stay up..

Hmmmm... wish my last OBGYN could've told me that and I could've already had a baby! But here's to new beginnings!

I'm sooo ready to be a momma!!!

Hi Rustyswife, I was just browsing so thought I would say hello!

DH and I have been TTC for almost a year now. Since coming off the pill I had no AF whatsoever so my GP referred me to a fertility specialist who diagnosed PCOS. DH had a semen analysis which came back fine, and I had HSG which was also fine. We were then prescribed 50mg Clomid CD2-6.

I had to take Norethisterone to bring on AF which was practically non-existent like it was when I took it for the blood tests and HSG. The consultant said that's nothing to worry about, but I am concerned that it means my lining is too thin even if I were to get pregnant. Anyway, I started Clomid on CD2-6 and we started BDing every other day from CD8. I had barely any side effects from the Clomid other than a couple of night sweats. Today is CD21 and I will be having a blood test this afternoon. Pretty sure I haven't O'd though so I am a little doom and gloom today.

Like you, we are so ready to be parents. Breaks my heart when another month goes past without any luck, or someone else announces a pregnancy.

Really positive that you have a diagnosis and your doctor is ready to keep on top of your progesterone too - sending so much luck your way!

:)
