After my midwife appointment she said baby was head down but slightly off centre so oblique ceph position.

Anyone had experience of this and how I can get baby to shift a little so s/he is central and ready to engage?

Nothing to worry about, at 36 weeks my was breech, turned before my ecv appointment at 37+3 and is head down but no where near being engaged.

Try not leaning back or slouching when you sit, do you have a birth ball?

Xx

Thanks raspberry. Yes I have a ball, need to get on I more I think!

It really helps to sit on the ball instead of the sofa, you can look on spinning babies website for positions to help baby get into a good birth position.

Not sure on the position but with ds his head didn't engage until my waters actually popped, had to go in to be checked incase his head came down and trapped his cord! All was fine tho, they can engage anytime ;-) x

Mine is still slightly oblique. Yours will probably move once you get closer to labour. I wouldn't worry if I were you.
