I'm not sure about iron (could be because I've never been low there) but I know vitamin d can definitely effect it. When getting ready to do ivf at my clinic they check to make sure you're in a normal range before they'll even transfer for you. That, thyroid levels, and progesterone are huge factors. So my dr had a death in the family so i had a different dr. He was lovely (he accidentally congratulated me haha). Turns out im low in iron and vitamin d. I didnt ask him any questions but will try book in with my dr when shes back. But quick google they could both impact fertility? So i will make sure i take my vitamins properly!
Hello everyone! Sorry I’ve been MIA.
so...I did not expect this...almost 2 years of trying for our second and I believe we got our BFP finally...
I am cautiously optimistic. We literally had an appointment to go see the fertility doctor later this month. I’m still in shock...
I was feeling lethargic and dizzy. And had an odd taste it my mouth and felt a bit nauseous. But I also had pelvic cramps so attributed that to AF starting. But I just was like what the heck, I’ll take a test tonight. And low and behold...it was positive! Here are the 2 I took. I think I’ll try an FRER tomorrow.
Sending lots and lots of baby dust to all you ladies!!

@Lightning7 So sorry for your last cycle. It is ok that you took some time off of course. don't worry about us, we totally understand. I've got everything crossed for you this cycle!
@AlwaysTheAunt so sorry that 9dpo didn't get darker. There is still time.Glad the DR caught some deficiencies that could help
@salamander91 Sorry for the bfn
@BabyBrain80 Beautiful OPK's! Go catch that eggy! Good Luck.
I understand how feeling happy that the baby's sex affects your coping.
My ex and I were together for 10 years. During that time we were TTC for 3.5 years before having our son. Before that we had a late MMC of a little girl.
In March I had a chemical pregnany with my fiance, and two weeks later my ex's new gf found out she was pregnant. IT felt, and still feels like a betrayal. And I had great anxiety about the baby's sex. Llike somehow if it was a girl I would feel even worse.
It turns out it is a girl, arriving in January. And I still struggle and feel a pain every time my son mentions his baby sister.
I am soo sorry for all you have been through. -xxx-
@tropicsgirl WOW!!! beautiful BFP!!!I'll update the first page if you would like me too
Congradulations and H&H 9 months!
AFM: Sorry haven't been on the last few days. With the long weekend we had lots to do. I think I've caught up. So sorry if I've missed anyone.
I am CD10 today. Hoping that I'll be able to catch that egg. Will start OPK,s today so feeling slightly optimisitc. Cycle 13 of trying now. Fingers crossed.
@AlwaysTheAunt Being low in both will most definitely cause fertility issues. I was low in D and my do back then had a fit about me taking extra D3. I do not get much sun at all so makes sense. Taking more iron is tricky. Did the doc give you any recommendations?
