I was hoping Hayden would keep nursing until 2 but our actual goal was 18mo and we made that 
He cut back so much at 18mo I actually thought he was done but then for about 2wks he was wanting to nurse again all the time and we ended up going to 19mo..he turned 19mo on the 15th. Well he hasn't asked now in almost 2wks but yesterday I was trying to hand express some milk for his eyes, they have been really goopy almost like pink eye just not red. Well I was having a hard time getting anything and he was eyeing me doing it so I asked him if he wanted to nurse and he said yes so I tried to let him and he put his mouth on it then pulled away and touched his mouth and said "eww" and shook his head no 
He flat out refused, kinda sad for him to say ewww lol. But hey atleast I made it to my goal right? Still sad though. I made it without a single bottle, of anything ever, which I also really wanted to do. And no supplementing of any kind, we introduced rice milk after he was one, like 14mo I think but before then it was just mommy and sometimes water. He didn't even eat solids until 9mo...pretty amazing that just my body alone kept him going even outside of me kwim? Kind of nice to not have to nurse, have myself back but I'm still sad because we are pretty sure he is our last
