Is this normal????

3 stone seems like a hell of a lot and my face has gotten really really fat now :(

I've still got 5 weeks til cesarean, so at this rate will finish at about 4 stone!! Oh my god, help!!!!!!

I'm soooooo hungry all of the time and can't exercise as my back is so bad

Don't worry about it hun, 4 stone may be a normal amount for you to gain in pregnancy no 2 women are the same! Try to make sure you eat healthy foods and that's all you can do it's not forever.

xx

i wouldn't worry hun, i used to worry as i wanted to stay below the recommended max of 35lb total but i'm not going to, i'm up 34lb at 36 weeks. i think these maximum weights are a bit daft to be honest i mean i was slim pre-preg & never struggled with weight gain but my body clearly wants me to gain this weight now, nothing i do will stop it going up each week, it must be storing up fat for breastfeeding  xx

Try not to worry, my sis put on 4 stone with all 3 of her pregnancies and managed to lose it all again after. Infact I can picture her about a week after giving birth to her last and she looked great, I really hope my belly deflates like hers did! We all put on weight at different rates, if you're hungry you've got to eat!x

I'm almost 32 weeks and I've put on 46lbs!
Most of my weight was put on during the first trimester as I could not stop snacking/eating. I'm not going to stress about it too much - what's done is done. Just a matter of working it off after bb!

I have put on 50lbs since becoming pregnant and now I have put on weight in weeks and am actually losing weight. So I guess everywoman and every pregnancy is different.

I'm learning that I can't minutely manipulate my weight the way I could before... It's not as simple anymore. The only thing you have control over is the quality of your food, how active you are, and what you do after baby comes. Beyond that, stress g does us no good...when baby's in your arms all this stress will seem like nothing. :hugs:

you are not alone.

same! more than you actually, im approaching 4 stone at 37 weeks.i might even be 4 stone, i dont know i had to stop weighing myself as it got too depressing for me, my mw doesnt weigh me.will only know the final weight gain after the delivery as i just dont want to add any more stress about weight to my life right now and look forward to meeting baby girl.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You will lose the weight once LO comes out. Shoot at least you didnt put on 85 lbs like one of my coworkers did! Whew! But you would never know looking at her. She is a little thing now. Just try and not worry. Hope you feel better.

I gained like 65lbs with my first, hon. It was depressing. It does come off, though! If I hadn't kept eating nonstop after he was born, it probably would have come off a lot faster, but I was just under my pre-pregnancy weight from my first when I got pregnant with this one!

I'm up 25lbs with this one. I'd say it varies a LOT pregnancy to pregnancy. Just remind yourself that your body is hungry to nourish you and the baby, and also storing up fat to continue to nourish the baby through breast feeding. I am just trying not to worry about it too much... I'll lose the baby weight and then some after this little guy comes out!

Every woman is different and our bodies know what we need. Some women gain nothing and some gain what seems like loads

I am 30 weeks tomorrow and have gained 25 lbs and its creeping up very fast, but I try not to care - it will allll come back off in the end :haha:

I've gained tons as well. The way I see it, my body is storing it up for breastfeeding and it will all drop off once baby arrives- that's what I'm hoping for anyway :haha:
