OH is a pain in the.....

Gggrrr I am so frustrated with my OH He just keeps dismissing any names i like. I thought we were making progress with Joshua but NO He has decided he just doesn't like it. I just want to decide on names so after my 20 week scan we can call our baby by a name and not just the baby

So I gave him one of the many lists I've written with boys names (we already have a girls name) and the only names on it he said he would 'think about' were Caine (Kane) Oliver or Curtis. But he wouldn't say yes we should use this or that. Its been weeks now!!

My husband is doing the same thing.. and it's driving me absolutely CRAZY!
We got into a literal fight about it the other day, I have found so many great names and he doesn't like any of them!

I feel your pain! My DH and I just started looking at names and we agree on NOTHING!!! Makes me sooooo mad! He is stuck on one name that I dont want for a girl and we have a boys name picked (his middle, Wylie) and he keeps insisting we choose a family name for the middle.... ughhh.... I have Neville, Stark, Henry, Martha, Agnes and Dorothy to choose from there..... uh, NO THANKS!!!! LOL!
I gues thats why we have 9 months, right?

My OH decided we will pick names that we can use for either boy or girl.. So far we have only come up with Cameron, which we both agree on.. And thats since we first found out.. And he's been calling my bump cameron ever since so i guess thts all we are going to choose!!

That must be frustrating! I think I got around my hubby quite quickly with my boys name by telling him the meanings. I would just say 'I adore this name it mean's such and such' then he'd be all impressed and let me have my way. Or you could find some cool people in history who are called the same names as the ones you want to try give it an extra push.

Has he put forward any name's he likes?

Me & my DH cant decide on anything either, i know we are still a while off yet but like u after my 20 weeks scan i want to have a name sorted. altho i think we are keeping our names a secret

DH likes skye for a girl, i do too but i said to him the other night..."are we sticking with skye then"

he was like "what u mean"

i said "for the baby"

he was like oh i thought u meant sky for the tv

tht has completly put me off now.

i absolutly love Freya for a girl but DH hates it

I was thinking the same thing! Your OH may just want to know gender before putting alot of thought into a name...

I bet on the drive home, he'll seriously talk names with you!

Besides, i think having a girl's name sorted & 4 possible boy names by 20 weeks... is pretty good!!!!!!!!!

me and my hubby couldn't decide either and everytime i would ask he would said "idk" so i told him Trystin Michael and if he doesn't like it then he can call his son a nickname lol. i got my way. he agreed on Trystin Michael
