My darling fiance is gonna buy me a little bunny wabbit for my christmas
I've always wanted one, and i've been on at him for ages about it, and he finally caved in.

OOOOH I LOvE BUNNIES. Does anyone else have a bunny?
Any tips? It's gonna be a house bunny
I want a little lop.

I had two dwarf bunnies when we lived in the apartment cause we couldnt have dogs unless you paid 150 a month for them and a 600 pet deposit. So we got two dwarf bunnies. They were so cute, and they would lay on me and jump in my lap. But I never knew how much they pooped. Basically every 3 steps they take and they poop. Cage had to be cleaned every 2-3 days cause it would be filled to where you could harly see the ground cover in the cage. They are adorable, but take alot of upkeep. Also i wouldnt let them run around, they chewed holes in carpet lol but i guess that was my fault letting them free to roam every now and then

It'd probably be a good idea to get two as they will have companoinship when you're not about. I love bunnies too, especially lops. Oh and watch your phone wires, it's very embarrassing to phone up your internet provider to complain about your internet not working and then realise the wire has been chewed in two! (that was my rat's fault but when I had rabbits they also thought phone wires were tasty!)

hahaha awh thats so cute!!
i want to get it really soon but i dont think he'll let me before christmas.
i'm trying to argue that he only gets paid once by christmas, and that's in a week and a half, so he may as well get it then before he spends money on stupid stuff!!

My friend has a house rabbit and it's cute, as long as you have someone willing to clean it out twice a week and feed everyday if you go away then they're quite a low-maintenance pet, compared to a dog anyway.

I got a kitty to take my mind off babies for a bit and it's so nice to have a warm fuzzball on your lap all evening!

I have a house bun, she is brill and has on many times chewed my internet cable. Bunnies choose there partners and need to be introduced slowly, you can't just put two bunnies togeter and expect them to get on, even if they are sisters/brothers and have been known to try and castrate each other in a fight once they reach sexual maturity. Your best getting 1 bun having it a while, getting her speyed/nutured and then looking at getting another bun to introduce but it can take a lot of time and doesn't always work and you end up with 2 buns in seperate cages. Also buns need a specialist vet and if they ever need an op it costs more than cats or dogs because they need a special anesthetic that they can be brought out of. If you do need any more bunny advice feel free to pm me, I have a friend who works very closly with rescue bunnies and has told me the ins and outs of bunny care. x

my aunty had two house bunnies called molly and chester, she still has chester.

She got molly ten years ago just before she got pregnant with her first and molly had her own room lol once the baby came along it was turned into my cousins room but my aunt used to practise baby things on the bunny. She also has like 6 guinea pigs and a dog now though.
