I was induced with my last one cause I was overdue. When I arrived they inserted a pill looking thing inside me (can't feel it, and painless) I think some call it the PIT??? I'm pretty sure it was to soften things up. Then they put me on pitocin a while later and my contractions started almost imediatly. I arrived at the hospital at 6pm and had my LO at 11am. I had a good experience, the only thing I noticed was that contractions were more intense and frequent than going naturally into labor.
My 1st son I went into contractions on my own and both labors was medicine free. However like I said being induced for me was more intense...but still manageable.
