OH totally different this time round

hiya, this is my 2nd pregnancy and i dont know if anyone else has experience a change in there OH the 2nd time round but i have. When i was expecting my son my OH didnt really act any different than he did before althought he was over the moon he found it very hard to adjust and after our son was born he was never really around alot although we lived together and were a couple he was always out with his m8s untill about 9 months ago when he totally turned it all around and he became a fantatic dad to our son i mean completely turned everythibng around and they are so close now. i got pregnanct with our 2nd in sep planned and since then hes been even more amazing i get lie-ins and he takes our son nursery when i feel bad and he even went out today and bought our daughter to be a coat. i cnt even tell u all how happy i am that after so many rough yrs with my OH i know feel like ive finally got the family i want and am so much happier as b4 i felt like a single parent and i dont one bit now

Aw, that’s lovely. I think that becoming a Daddy changes a man irrevocably. Though I love OH as he is, I can't wait to see the changes in him too. I think that with a baby he’ll show his emotions in a way he doesn’t even with me. I suppose he’ll love unconditionally for the 1st time (he is not close to anyone in his family). I am thinking that once baby is born I would like the midwife to pass him / her straight to Daddy and he can bring him / her to me. Seeing the look on his face will be totally amazing and I’m sure a moment I’ll never forget. Hopes. X
