Today I had a ultrasound and found out that our little blue bump is actually a little PINK bump. I am at a loss for words and still trying to adjust to this news! Ahhhh. I feel soooo stressed out. I don't even know where to start!

I know I'm probably overreacting but I just don't see how this happens with the type of technology we have today! Idk what to believe anymore.

aww i'm terribly sorry to hear that, i know a few people this has happened to and it can be very frustrating try not to work yourself up though because it's all gonna be worth it at the end. I'm sure you can sell a few things and buy yourself some girly stuff. I'm having a baby girl too, but in another 8 weeks at least I want to have another scan incase she isn't a girl good luck with everything

Try to think more that you're gaining a little girl Anything you've bought in blue, take back to the shops and explain what's happened, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to exchange it for a girls colour. Everything will be fine Congrats on the news you'll be getting a daughter! Also, better finding out now than when she arrives!! You've still got time to swap everything. These things DO happen, it happens a bit more frequently than you'd think!

Because she probably bought everything in boy colours and now has to run around getting ready for a girl instead.
I don't see where it says she's upset but it'd be clear she's just frustrated.

Agreed plus she's probably been calling her bump Rilan considering she picked a name for a boy rather than a girl.

Oh god! I can't imagine how you must be feeling. This happened to a girl on ehere, was told she was having a boy, then girl, then boy & she ended up having a girl!

It will be okay, if you still have the tags on/receipts for clothes then they will take them back. Must be quite a bit of a shock for you thinking you were going to have a son, but having a daughter. Congratulations on team pink. xxx

^WSS. I'm sure that it's a very shocking ordeal! If my LO had come out as a boy, I'd be happy to have a son, but I'd feel like I'd lost the daughter I had been maknig a connection with...

I am sorry that you have to go through the stress of this! Is your sonographer certain that the first scan was a mistake? This actually happened to a friend of mine (thought she was having 'Miss Khloe' only to find out that she was having 'Mr Kaydon' instead!) She was able to exchange most things, and said it was kind of fun to be able to re-shop for things again. Try to think of the positives. You will LOVE your baby girl. It's shocking now, but you will adjust to the idea and be really excited.
