Do you think its safe to go to a waterpark? i mean obviously i wouldn't go on the really fast steep flumes but theres really gentle ones you go on on tubes and stuff...think i'l be ok to go? x

i wouldn't say its a good idea, there will be signs on all slides telling pregnant women not to use them

i know the one near me in newquay allows pregnant women...but we're going to one in paignton...I don't see why they'd stop you unless i'm being really blonde but how could you harm the baby? i'm not being funny, just stating how i see it x

I would definately say no im afraid....i would be more worried of someone bumping into me or kicking bump under water etc....

xxx

personally i wouldnt, but its totally up to you hun , if you think its safe enough then go for it :)x

Hmm i'm a bit torn to be honest, i wouldn't want to cause any problems to LO but if i stick to slower rides i don't see the problem? the only thing i've read is to not go on your belly (DUH!) lolx

Yeah i can see where you are coming from in that respect x

i think the thing with the actual rides is that they swish you about and advise against it incase you banged your belly on the sides etc....

If you comfortable going them go for it :hugs:

well i don't know if it makes a difference but i don't have a bump? lol so it wouldn;t be in the way etc....but i'd probably be more worried if it were packed and me not "looking" pregnant might be a bit dangerous as no one would be aware in the actual pools etc

my biggest worry would be the kids etc that are kicking around and maybe catching my belly... i love swimming but not brave enough to go in this pregnancy :-(

:hugs: xxx

I would absolutely say YES - go and enjoy yourself!

You will know not to do anything stupid, surely?

Not worth the risk for the sake of a water slide ride IMO. It usually has no pregnant ladies on the signs

I was advised against it when I went to Centre Parcs a couple of weeks ago.

The life guard on duty said although I would be extra careful it's the other people bashing into you and not being aware that you are pregnant that is the problem and that was on the lazy river not even on the slides.

I don't see any harm in doing something like a wave pool, or a river pool. But slides that throw you out of a slide... deffinately not.

I don't know how your water parks are, but over here(U.S.) I don't think pregnant women are allowed to ride water rides for legal purposes. If something DID happen for some odd reason, then they would be held accountable.
