See maybe im the odd one, i really dont like really old names, but maybe thats because they are old names? like i mean i dont want my baby having a name which makes him/her seem 50/60??

In saying that though no offence to anyone but when picking my sons name we decided agaisnt Dylan as a first name as while its ok for a baby/little boy i dont think it sits right for an adult lol so i have a real hard time picking names lol

it's fair to say some old names are a bit of a marmite situation where as some have made a strong comeback! Think ivy might be a marmite one as my OH still isn't convinced lol

one name we agree on for a boy is Stanley, another old name to the list

It's not in fashion but my son's middle name will be Emlyn. It's not been popular for over 100 years I don't think

I really wanted Maisie for a girl but it's my ex's grandma's name so it wouldn't really be appropriate for this baby. Both me and OH would definitely go for Florence for this one but its our cat's name so we're still stuck! at the minute i'm thinking either Violet, Martha or Betsy. If we were having a boy he would've been Noah James

Love old names. My little one is called hermione and new baby if gift will be called Elsie or hattie. Love ivy think it's cute and can't be shorterend which is a bonus. Keep on at his. Hubbsy said not sure to hermione then at the birth liked it and now says he doesn't think he will ever love a name as much as it

Thankfully my OH loves the same name I do for our little girl...Ruby...Its just the middle names we haven't decided upon yet....
I like Ruby Jessa Grace...so we'll see....
