I've tried a few so far and funnily enough all but one are pointing in the same direction!

Girl : 5

Ring test
Baking soda test
Red cabbage test
Hand Test
Chinese gender predictor

Boy : 1

My Instinct

Ive done the ring test and it says girl but Im sure its a boy! Only thing is the ring test was right with all 3 of my babies so I guess we will see which is right this time Im hoping fo find out thursday! I dont know of any other except did u look at the chinese gender prediction?

I just learned not to put much stock into any of those tests, the chinese calendar etc...sorry.

My instincts, everyone I've spoken to, my cravings and about 70-75% of the tests and so-called predictors all indicated BOY.

Last Friday, at my 20 week ultrasound, my tech said she's about 70% sure it's a GIRL.

Other than my instincts, here are the reasons I believed it's a boy (all things I read online):
- if your hands and feet are colder than pre-pregnancy, it's a boy
- if you're craving salt, meat and dairy, it's a boy
- if you haven't "lost your beauty", it's a boy (they say girls strip the mom-to-be's beauty)
- if you don't fill OUT and are all belly, it's a boy
- if your belly is basketball shaped, it's a boy (those carrying a girl are said to be watermelon shaped - more pointed forward)
...there are tons. These all apply to me yet I'm apparently having a little girl.

Even the Chinese charting system was wrong for me...and it's said to be 90% accurate.

Enjoy doing them but don't believe it! I can't believe that my instincts were wrong too! AH!

I took a quiz online though on all htose wivetale type things and it said 76% girl and my Dr. said 100% girl but I thought I was having a boy... It may not be true but it's kind of fun to obsess over

One Chinese gender test said girl, another one boy ring test on full bladder girl, on empty one boy. Strong early instinct says girl but have been referring to the baby as he in the last few weeks.

I have my 20 weeks can tomorrow so we'll see

Just googled and tried the baking soda test it foamed up and i could hear slight fizzing so i guess means boy lol x

It's weird, with the baking soda test, the first time I tried it (earlier in the pregnancy) it didn't fizz at all. The 2nd time I did it, it foamed at the top...? Does it matter if you put the baking soda in before or after the urine?

All mine point to a girl, but im SURE its a boy, i say 'he/him/his' all the time without thinking! Never done the baking soda or cabbage test though x

About half the tests say girl and half say boy for me. My gut instinct says boy, but I have a notoriously unreliable gut instinct.

Just two more weeks before I get an ultrasound! Can't wait!

My ring test said girl, and the Chinese gender predictor said boy. Just found out we're having a girl which is what I thought she was!
