Old wives tales

Hi Ladies,

I thought it would be entertaining to swap Old Wives Tales as there are sooo many of them out there and some are really entertaining.

I have been told so many that I have forgotten them but the one that sicks in my mind is, if your trying and are having a difficult time sit on a pregnant womans chair and you will get caught!!

If only it was that easy

my regional manager at work has had good knows how many kids (to god knows how many women) we all joke that all you need to do is sit in his chair and you will get pregnant lol

i might just give it ago if i dont have a BFP this month (i am game for anything to improve my chances)

Not an oldwives tale - but when I was TTC, I slathered on baby lotion all the time. I thought somehow the smell would help my chances! LOL. It worked... I got pregnant 1st real ttc cycle.

My grandma said that when you're pregnant, don't be putting your hands over your head, ie: hanging clothes, putting things on shelves. They said it would cause the cord to wrap around the baby's neck.

Stupid me, I slept on my BELLY with my hands over my head the whole time I was preggo with my first one.

My favourite is still 'don't have sex whilst preg - or you'll dent the baby' (a dimple!) Classic.
