OMG - advice gush of fluid should I be worried?

Ladies - sorry if this is TMI but I am really stressing.


I went for a scan yesterday and saw baby all fine and I am 10 weeks 4 days. Since the scan I have been having cramping and stretching sensations but sure this is normal.

Anyway this morning I got up off the sofa and felt a gush down below when I got up. I went to the bathroom and thankfully it wasn't blood but it was a 'burnt' horrible smelling clear fluid.

Is it normal to leak fluid like discharge or should I be worried?

Call your midwife or doctor fr advice. Maybe you have an infection of some kind. Take care!

Probably nothing to worry too much about, but worth checking with your doctor or midwife. Amniotic fluid usually smells sweet, so that seems unlikely.

Any chance you might have had a minor urine accident? Did they do any sort on internal at your exam, and use some sort of lubricant? Sometimes it seems like my doctor actually fills my vagina with the stuff.
