I'm freaking out. I'm not even 20 weeks but I've just gone to get ready for bed, took off my bra but my nipples were stuck to the inside of it (sorry tmi) I had to gently peel my bra off them and I noticed a "tide mark" along the bottom half of each cup. they've been pretty sensitive the past couple of days but nothing has happened like this. I'm really worried =[

I was wearing a dark jumper so didn't notice it before but it can't be milk right? Does this mean labour is nearing? Sorry if that's a daft question. This hasn't happened before. I didn't produce milk or notice leaking until after my other children had already been born.

Someone please reassure me =/ Thanks xx

Sorry Little Nugett, I've no experience with this but have heard it's quite normal. Call your MW for reassurance though if you're worried. X

some one else put a post up about this the other day,i couldn't believe it as i thought the same that you that they didn't leak untill the baby was here!but few girls replied stating the same and apparently is quite common!ive invested in them pads just incase as im 20 weeks nw and my friends advised it happened to them round about now! but if u r worried call ya MW x

i think i've been leaking tiny amounts for a few weeks now. everynight i find dried, crusty colostrum on my nips:blush:

i didn't leak until after my son was born so wasn't expecting this.

i'm pretty sure it's normal though. just mention it to your midwife next time you see her if you're worried.:flower:

Very normal. Welcome to another wonderful pregnancy symptom lol :) Mine have been doing it since before 20 weeks too.

Ive been leaking since just before 11 weeks, perfectly normal, doesnt mean your going into labour soon, like another lady said, its just a joy of pregnancy lol.

Please don't panic it's normal!!!! This happened with both of mine and I am waiting for it to happen again :-( Time to invest in some breast pads sweetie xx also wear a night bra with pads as mine leaked loads over night

Totally normal...I've had this going on since about 15 weeks, and this is my first baby. Just means we'll be good milk-makers for all that free food we make for the little one! :)

I had a small amount leak out of one breast the other day. It suprised me, but havent seen any since. I think its just our bodies doing what they have to do. Some women leak very early on in pregnancy others, not until close to baby's birth. I wouldnt worry about it.

It is normal and please don't panic. I have this as well and they actually warned me that this could happen. I'm not sure how true it is, but chances are better that you will be able to BF. You will be able BF if it didn't happen either, it's just a certainty then - well, so I heard. Correct me if I'm wrong ladies.

What I can say is that you need to get fitted for more comfortable bra's and a sleeping bra. You can also get breastpads and that will help a lot. Oh and one tip. If you bathed or showered let your nipples dry first before putting on the bra first because your nipples tend to be a bit tender at the end of the day. That's advise I've been given and it works. I use to put cream on them straight away and then it burned badly after a while. lol

Ahh thank God lol. I got so worked up I fell asleep at 7:30 lol
I've just woken up with one bit of wet on my pyjama top so I think I better pick up some breast pads today and try and have them measured properly.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Feel much calmer now. I love pregnancy lol xx
