Never in a million years did we ever think we'd be able to conceive naturally. We needed IVF with ICSI to conceive our son due to DH's incredibly poor count, motility and morphology. I havent had a period since just before christmas and did a test about 3 weeks ago which was very negative. DH wanted me to test again this morning as I still havent come on and bam there is a bfp! I did two tests and both are positive. Faint, but very much there!

Anyone got any tips for being pregnant and looking after a high needs baby, then dealing with a newborn and a very young toddler?

Welcome to the club. We'll have a 15 month gap x

Congratulations :happydance: - 14-15 month gap here, plus a nearly 4 year old in the mix too!

Organisation is the key I've found. I'm 9 months in to being a mum of 2 and still not quite cracked it though as I keep getting ill! :dohh:

Congratulations- I have a 16 months gap between DD2 and Ds1 and a 5 month old as well. My tips are smile :) Seriously take help from family when you can and take a day at a time. Seems to help me. You will be fine. :) xxx

Congrats!!! No advise my kids are 26 months apart but I had no problems I love the closeness in age. They are now 7 and almost 5 and they are best friends and play GReAt together!!

Congratulations!

I'm sorta in the same boat, although I didnt need IVF. I have PCOS and dont ovulate on my own. At around 5 months PP I still didnt have a period so I tested and BAM! My littles will be 14 months apart.

I'm nervous but excited!

Congrats!!

My daughter was born 9 days after my sons first birthday and now they are almost 1 and 2. The beginning is difficult, but you definitely manage. I found a double stroller was a must and for me the hardest part was watching my very rough and tumble little boy around my newborn! But, now she's a tough little cookie thanks to her brother.

I was very, very nervous throughout my pregnancy and worried how I'd cope with two, and how my son was still a baby himself and that he'd "miss out" on being a baby, but I truly believe the greatest gift you can your child is a sibling, and honestly, it all works out beautifully.

Are there really hard days? Sure are! But, I will tell you right now one of my greatest joys is seeing my son wrap his chubby little arm around his sister, and watching my daughter eagerly crawling behind her brother with such joy in her eyes. They truly have built character for each other and myself. My son has learned to be a little more patient, my daughter has learned to be a little tough, and I have learned to take a breath more often.

Sorry, I am rambling, but really I was the lat person in the world to ever, ever want this small of an age gap, but I am truly so so happy. So congratulations you have a difficult but very unique and wonderful journey ahead of you!!

I also had my last period before xmas just went in for a blood test to confirm if im pregnant but i kind of just Know the dr did call me back to receive the results he never calls back if its negative...my daughter is 5 months And with her it took almost 2 years to concieve her so suprised it happened quickly this time they are going to be close in age but Im happy congratz to you :)

Congratulations!!! This has just happened to a friend of mine, exactly the same situation as you... One of the little swimmers obviously got through... Way to go sperm!!!

Thanks ladies. I still can't get my head around it and keep having little moments of doubt. These are positive right?

Can't believe that I could have two children soon if all goes well! I feel like the luckiest woman alive. My gorgeous little boy will be a big brother! Now I just need DH to believe it. He's too scared incase the tests are wrong.
