Over-supply or leakage? I've got no advice but didn't want to read and run.

I am stopping, can't nurse, and recovering from infection, nipples have open sores, etc. I just can't do it. All the pumping is tearing my boobs up. But now that I need it to stop coming back, I don't know how to stop it!

Cold cabbage leaves are supposed to help.

Peppermint and sage will help as you wind down. Also ibuprofen and arm swings to avoid mastitis. Be gentle with yourself! You are a very important, very loved, mamma. And your health is extremely important!!!!

You might be better just expressing a little by hand just for your comfort. That way you are avoiding the pump and it'll be easier on your nipples. Ibuprofin is helpful too and try to be patient as it may take a while. Good luck and hope it all works out :)
