Went to my midwife last Tuesday, normal app, but when she went to take my bp it was very high, she changed the cuff and it went down, so said all was OK. Bubs didn't move as much in wed morning/afternoon, so went up to hospital to be in the safe side .... Baby fine, but I had sky high bp, protein in urine and was diagnosed with gestational diabetes!! How none of this was picked up by my mw the day before is beyond me, but just thankful it was!! Only out of hospital today, but back in this Wed for induction at 37+1 .... Very scared as first baby, but cannot wait to meet her!!! x

Good luck hun, iv been induced with all 3 and only the last one was bad, but i think that's COs waters had been leakin 6 weeks and i had a minor infection, and baby was awkward, plus its what midwifes call 3rd baby syndrome lol xxx

Well ..... She is here! Rylie Sara arrived on Thursday 3rd April at 4.35am. Induction started at 9am on the 2nd, was 2cm already. Waters broke at 1am on the 3rd and contractions right after. Got to 10cm by about 4am and pushed for 35 mins. Rylie was 9lbs and had her on just G&A with no stitches .... Best thing I have ever done!!
