Opinions on what's going on please?!

So I had what I thought was AF on August 14th. It was much lighter than usual, but even so, lasted about 4 days (barely had to use pads).

Now, on the 30th had brown when I wiped. The next day I had very light bleeding, dark red/brown, cramps. It's more than spotting, but less that AF.

Any ideas what might be going on? I'm just starting TTC, so I don't really know my cycle, when I OV, or anything else.

Just looking for advice, opinions, suggestions..... Any help is much appreciated!

Nice to see a fellow Canadian and "neighbour" (i'm albertan)

I have heard ladies on here report these symptoms with OV and with their BFPs...so it could be that. I'm sort of new at this too, as this is my first cycle of Clomid (I have fertility issues...PCOS.....and need help ovulating)....but from what I have read on here it either means AF (unlikely for you, since it'd be too early), OV (a definitely possibility) or BFP...which would be great for you =)

sorry...by BFP I meant implantation bleeding....but that leads to your BFP...so you get the picture

Thanks Born2BeAMommy. I have been trying to read about implantation bleeding. Seems to me most woman have more spotting than anything else, but everyone is different!

Seems that it wouldn't be OV, as I have never had this type of bleeding before, and I know for a fact that I have ovulated in my life as I have 3 children right now, and had 2 m/c's last summer.

Other than that, I'm lost! haha So... when should I test?? I'm eager to find out if it's implantation, but don't wanna waste tests! haha

And I'm glad that there is another Canadian on here, and from the west, no less!!! We were just in Alberta for our summer holidays. We saw Drumheller, Calgary Zoo, and then visited family in Edmonton.

Lol...well if you have 3 kids then you are way more experienced at TTC than me and probably know a lot more about OV and such.
Sorry you have had to deal with MC....I am taking Maca Root, an all natural Root vegetable supplement in certified organic capsule form....the chances of MC decreases hugely when on it....so I'm really hoping it works for me....plus it helps with my fertility issues.

I've only been to Sask. once...to Regina when I was in Highschool..but I loved it =)

I have seen that ladies have tested the next day and got their BFPs but I'm like you I wouldn't want to 'waste' tests...so I'd probably wait a few days....do you know when you ovulated??? is it roughly 2 weeks since then?? I dunno exactly what to tell you other than you should test soon...but not too soon if you JUST ovulated...otherwise it won't show up.

Ya, you would think I am more experienced, but every time is completely different. I have never experienced this bleeding before.

But thanks for the advice! You really seem to know more about this than I do, to be honest. Pregnancy, I can give you advise on, but all this talk about TTC is so new to me!

Well I'm TTC my first baby...and I have fertility problems...so I spend a HUGE portion of my time reading about other women's experiences and researching about it online as I find that knowledge is power. When I find something new and exciting I love to share it with others, so that's why when I see women with questions like you I think...Oooh! i wonder if I know the answer...and I usually only have a "guess" based on what I've read...but I hope it's helpful.....and I really wish you all the best of luck in TTC baby #4....hope I can have 4 oneday myself...just not all at once! lol
