So my period was 8 days late, I had an abundance of symptoms but a few hours after a negative test I started to bleed.

Every period I've had to date I've had fore warning with sore boobs and severe cramping. They are always mediam to heavy in flow.

This one however I've had no cramping (a few twinges though) and my boobs are fine, no pain or discomfort at all.

I would love to hear your opinions ladies. xxx

It might've been an anovulatory cycle. Most women who get their period regularly can still have one or two wonky cycles a year, and it's considered normal.

I am experiencing something similar except I have not started bleeding. AF 2 days late. I thought maybe I was experiencing an anovulatory cycle. I'm no expert though. I don't temp or anything to pinpoint my O. Do you? That at least would answer that question for you.

A lot of symptoms we experience are from progesterone which happens whether we are pregnant or not.. it could be your progesterone didn't rise as high as it usually does which would explain the lack of symptoms.. or you didn't ovulate this cycle, which would be quite normal. It's common for a healthy women to have one anovulatory cycle or a really wacky one a year xx
