I posted this in the formula feeding section but had no replies so am seeing if i have anymore luck in here :flower:

I'm not overly concerned but wanted some opinions from you lovely ladies :flower:

Sienna used to be on C&G Hungry baby, but since starting her on 3 meals a day we changed her back to C&G stage 1 as she wasnt drinking enough a day due to more than likely being full from meals + the heavier milk... That problem has been resolved using C&G 1 and she now happily drinks 3 7oz bottles a day and eats 3 meals :D

I weighed her on my digital scales last week and since changing her milk she has lost 2lb in weight and now weighs 18.5lb at 8 months old.

I checked this on her chart in her red book at that puts her on the 75th line...

So does this seem ok? I think she is a lovely weight now and she doesnt look so chunky

Here is a pic of my princess taken a few days ago(any excuse to show her off :cloud9:)

Thanks for reading :flower:

are you basing the weight loss on a previous weighing on your own scales, or the ones at your baby clinic? all scales are set slightly differently, which could make for a slight loss.

If she seems happy and is developing well, then i wouldn't worry too much, but if you are concerned at all, pop her along to your local baby clinic for them to weigh her. I'm sure they'll put your mind at ease.

And she's a little beauty by the way ,)

I second what the OP says, I'd get her weighed on the HV's scales as they tend to be the most accurate for babies. I do weigh LO on our digital bathroom scales sometimes if I need a rough idea of his weight to buy clothes or something but usually get a slightly different reading than what I get at the weighing clinic. And she looks lovely, I wouldn't worry about her weight at all X

aww she's gorgeous hon! i think it could easily be a difference in scales perhaps? she looks totally perfect to me :cloud9: if your concerned at all, pop along to clinic and have her weighed, but sounds like she's doing great, and i found, once they are up and moving, there weight gain slows x
