DH has come up with the name Ellison, Ellis for short for a boy. Im trying to like it as its unusual but not sure its masculine enough.

What do u all think?x

Ellison does kind of sound like Allison, but Ellis is definitely a boys name IMO. I think it's a lovely name for a little boy & when he's grow he will sound very mature.

Ellis is very nice for a boy -- but Ellison sounds too feminine (too similar to Allison)

I used to work with a little boy named Elliston -- sounds a bit more like a boy's name maybe??

hmm im sorry I dont like ellis, in my home town a lot of the critically acclaimed "chav" mummies seem to find this name very popular, not wanting to offend with the stereotyping xx
