OPK always negative? Could I still be ovulating?

So we have been letting nature take its course since last December but in recent months I decided to look into using OPK because I'm just not really feeling my ovulation symptoms. My cycles have also started to become slightly irregular in the past few months... maybe in the past 6 months.

I was told that it is possible to still ovulate even if your OPK is negative. I test daily!! I used OPK before falling pregnant with my earlier children and did get positives those days... so I don't know what's wrong now.

So what I'm wondering is, could I be ovulating but maybe I'm testing at a wrong time of the day or for some reason it's not picked up by the OPK? Any similar experiences?

Are you testing twice daily around your fertile time? Are you temping?

Yikes, I had no idea I had to test twice a day! I am going to start temping this coming cycle...it's been a long time since I used a bbt and don't currently have my old one...ordered another one...

I literally get an obvious negative in the morning and positive in the afternoon! Defo temp it really helps! Keep me updated with how you get in xx
