opk as hpt?? :)

i just took this opk... and it it so close to being positive... i ran out of hpt so i just experimented with it... does it look positive to you??? and do opk's really pick up hcg??? how does it work? thanks in advance!

yes they do but you'd have to be several weeks along, they wouldn't detect an early pregnancy. Also i wouldn't call that positive, if you were asking about a positive OPK the answer would be no

I got a positive opk with a temp dip and waiting for my period now. Sometimes you get positive for pregnancy or some times woman get an LH surge just before period x

The day I got my BFP I tested with an OPK. The OPK was much darker that what it should have been for my DPO (I was 8DPO at the time). And it really made me wonder WHY it was so dark. So that's when I tested with an HPT and got a faint
