OPK expertise needed

Ok so I would like to know when I ovulate ready for TTC. I haven't started charting propery as I'd like to see how our first two months go, but I would like to know when I O. I've got a pack of OPKs (7 days) just wandering what's the best day to start them? Should I start CD10 for 7 consecutive days or? I have no idea when I O, so not sure what to look out for. I've not really looked into different types of cm, however I've read a bit about it now so I'm a bit wiser on what to look out for!

some other of my TTC friends have recommended FertilityFriend. I need to look into this too so I know what I am doing as well. I'll be watching to see what others say.

I used cheap opks from Amazon so that I can use them twice a day from the end of my period until +. But I think the average cycle starting on CD 10 would probably be fine.
