Hi
This is my 1st month using them, so i can only tell you what mine has done, i started testing on cycle day 9 (which was a bit early for me but as it is the 1st mnth a didnt want to miss it!), to begin with they were only showing the test line with the faintest of a second line that you could see in a cetain light, but as the days went on it started to get slightly darker, but only slightly then tues a bit darker, wed pm nearly as dark, then thurs am def darker than the test line(cycle day 18) so a positive and i also had a smiley on the cb digi so new it was defo a+. hope this helps:kiss:

ive been using them 4eva, mine get darker b4 a pos, but some ladies just get a pos straight away

Thanks ladies,

I have been getting that vvvvvv faint line which I know means nothing at all as there is always lh present....

I guess im clutching at straws as I was hoping I would ov.... I'll keep testing till af shows to see! Have more bloods next week so I know what the answer will be but at least it won't be a shock this time!

Hey chickadee, OPKs are good for timing sex but they don't tell you whether you actually ovulate or not.

Some times your body gears up to ovulate - you get a positive OPK but then it doesn't go through with it for whatever reason. The only way to prove you are ovulating is to properly record your body basal temperature at the same time each morning upon waking (setting an alarm is usually easiest). If you sign up-to an account like Fertility Friend they will be able to calculate when you ovulated based on your temperatures and other symptoms such as cervical mucus. I have been there before darling with the not ovulating and I only wish that I had started recording BBT earlier as we wasted 6 months with me not ovulating. I hope this helps xxx

Thanks feisty, the main reason I started them this month was to see if anything was happening iykwim...

I also got a thermometer but thought one thing at a time as I didn't wanna confuse myself as I'm new to it lol! I will however be starting to temp on CD1!

It's just so frustrating not knowing! And my gp won't refer me until a year even tho we have proof I'm not ov!!!!!

Thanks so much for the advise :)

I am lucky that my OBGYN is a very well-known and respected fertility specialist so I don't need a referal. FF can I see what your charts look like? I am kind of disappointed that the only thing indicating that I actually Oed this month is that my temp was stable for 3 days. But it only went up .1 and went significantly down after the 3 days of higher temps.

Yeppers. I haven't got an buddies from Texas. I have 1 text buddy and 2 im buddies. :)

I have been using them for 4 going on 5 months now. One month I used them from the day I stopped my period until I OVed and I noticed that mine started stark white and got a tiny darker a week before OV and then BAM! they got really dark. Some women will see it get darker and darker every day until it goes positive while others will see nothing and then a dark positive. It just depends on your body's preference. Good luck!

Arpeters thanks so much for your reply.... It's nice to know that they are diff for diff people!

Im really hoping I'll test one day and bam! There it is lol! Starting to doubt it will tho!
