Opk-line nearly as dark then went faint again?

I started using opks this month and I test in the evening a the last time I used them thats when I caught my surge so I done mine this time they started off faint and then the line went darker but not as dark as the test line and then the next day it went back to faint?
Do u think I could of ovulated but caught the end of my surge? Any help with experienced opk users appreciated!!

Hmm, I can't really answer that but just to say I've had the same, so interested in the answer! Waiting to see if temps go up at the mo!

I really want to start temping but I know I won't be able to keep it up so forgetful when I wake up lol!!!

Hiya,
It sounds like you caught the back end of the surge... in some ladies the surge only shows for about 6 hours..

Thankyou coffee lover that what I was thinking I hope so as about 36 hours later I had sharp pains in my pelvis fingers crossed my cycles get back to normal x
