Hey y'all! I'm new to this site and I need some major advice! This is my first month TTC and I started OPKs at CD13. I have taken 4 tests and my first two had a dark line only on one side!! The last 2 have been faint. My question is, does a dark line on one side of the line make it a psoitive? Is it possible that I ovulated on CD11 or CD12 and missed it since my line is now getting lighter?? Please help!

If the test line is darker or as dark as the control line that is a positive. If the dark line you were seeing was the test line then that would have been positive. Usually the test line is on the left and the control on the right but I'm not sure if that is the case with every different kind of test so look on your box to see which is which. Hope this helps.

Yep - what Mrsferguson said. Sounds like your test line was the light one - and the dark line was the control one. The control line should always be dark - the test is only positive when the other line is as dark or darker than the control line. If the control line is not showing then your test is faulty. Definitely check the instructions to make sure which line is which - I believe the test line is usually the one closest to the bit you pee on, but not sure if this changes by manufacturer.
