I have had three positive OPKs in the past month (smiley face clear blues). They were on Sept. 2, 10, and 20 (today). I have had negatives between the tests. I don't even know the last time I had a period (mine have never been regular, even before my first pregnancy). Opks worked to conceive baby #1. Any ideas why I'm getting so many random positives? I'm lost.

Are you taking them all at the same time of day? I realized that if I used FMU, I got false positives. Maybe try taking a pregnancy test too.

I didn't know that FMU could potentially produce false positives...I'll have to keep that in mind! Thanks!

Im not 100% but I think the issue with FMU isnt false positives but false negatives. Because it builds throughout the night there may not be enough LH in your system when you wake up to show a positive with all your pee cause it would be too diluted. Thats why they recommend smu.
