OPK Question

Please anyone with any advice let me know...

I decided to use OPKs this month because DH and I are really anxious to get pregnant again after our MC in August. I took one this morning (CD13) and 1/2 of the test line was super dark and half was just kind of dark (but not darker than the control line). Should I count this as +?? The same thing happened the month I got pregnant and I think I O'd about 12 hours later.

The strange thing is I always O around CD 21, 17/18 is the earliest I have ever O'd. Can the MC effect my O date? Normally I wouldn't even have been testing yet, but I got impatient and decided to start testing earlier!

Hmmmmmm well just to be on the safe side you should retest tonight! Your levels could have gone up super fast and then it might give u a dark positive!

I bought a different brand of test and I am going to test at luch time. So I am sitting at work holding my pee! FX'd for a + result! I keep telling myself if I don't get a positive this month I am paying the extra $ for digital tests!

What brand are u using right now?? If ever it's still all wonky then you should definetly splurge on the digital...and hey it's easy to justify spending the extra $$$ IT'S FOR A GOOD CAUSE!

I almost bought some digi tests at Walgreens the other day, but decided not to since I already had some of the strips. But now I wish I had. The strips I used this morning were Walgreens brand. The tests I just bought are answer brand (not the strips the tests that look like HPTs). I am switching to Clearblue digital next month! (hopefully I won't have to!)

I hope no one sees me in the bathroom! They may think I am taking a HPT! I can hear the rumors now...

I will either put it in my purse or just throw it out. There aren't that many women where I work (it is probably 80% male here, so really the chances of me getting caught are slim). But the women that do work here are very gossipy, but hey they probably need some new smut!

I seriously hope ur opk test is super dark at lunch time and you can rest easy after that. It's a pain trying to guess ok is that technicly a + or not...or yes....

Well it really doesn't make that much difference for me because I am going to make DH BD again tonight anyway, neg or pos on the next test (My LH surge was really short last time, so I am taking no chances!). Plus I already temp, so it will be clear in a couple days whether or not the OPK was +!

Well I tested again before lunch and it was - But there are still two lines, so I don't know if I just missed my surge or if I am still waiting on my surge... but when I wiped I also notice what might have been EWCM... so I guess only time will tell. I am planning on BDing tonight just in case.

The best advice is just to cover your bases u know? It is very possible tho that haven't gotten your surge yet. Once again tho u gotta try not to read into it too much...which is quite obviously easier freakin said then done eh??

I know! Plus I am going out of town Fri night thu Sun morning, so I asked DH to get off work early Friday so we can BD before I leave but if I am going to O in the next couple days I would tell him never mind. It just sucks that there isn't some test to say for 100% certain when you will O! FF thinks I will O around next Thursday... so if it is that late I have nothing to worry about. Oh well I'll have to wait!

You see this is why it sucks having a vagina sometimes lol. Why can't we just get a clear response and now right then and there ohhh ok look at that my ovulation is this sunday at 10:43 am....Everyone could get pregnant no prob!?!?

Well I think it is a good thing I have the vagina and not DH... we would never have kids if he had to do all of the "planning". I think he think my egg will just "pop out" on his schedule! If only life worked that way!

Pffffff omg when we first started trying i had to explain to my DH that u can pretty much only get pregnant when you ovulate..which is give or take once a month...he was like u mean u dont ovulate ALL the time so i cant knock u up whenever??? I was like noppeeee...he actualy gave me a skeptical look as if he didnt believe me at first LOLOLOLOLOL.

LOL! I had to pretty much beg DH to BD at least once a week for the first couple months, then when I would start my period he would say "Man I can't believe you aren't pregnant yet." Seriously! I wanted to smack him. He didn't believe me at first when I told him that there was really only about 3 fertile days per month. Then he is like "Well tell me when that is and we will have sex then". Buddy, if I knew when those days were we would be pregnant by now! They just don't get it!

It's just as if the concept is lost on them eh? It's as if we enjoy ohhh so much not knowing when our fertile days are it'S such fun times woo freakin hoo.

Thanks! I am not really sure I am going to O this soon, but I am going to BD just in case!

How about you? Have you seen any signs of O?
