OPK & TTC Girl

We BD on CD 9, 11, 13 & 14

I've started using OPK never before tried them.
CD 13 was negative but in afternoon had first sign of
watery/EWCM ..

Possibly tomorrow will get a + OPK
Hope we've covered days as we are TTC girl..

Any thoughts please

Hi, didn't want to R&R,

I would say FXed you get a pos OPK in the next day or 2. test again tomorrow afternoon/early evening.
I would also advise to keep BDing every other day to cover your bases.

GL and FXed you get a BFP soon

I watched that with DH last month. I said to him we BD on 15 & 16 Jan and I asked him where he thinks the sperm are now, early on 17th lol He said they'll be hanging round for few days, I hope he's right, they should live for 3 says or so hey?

Hi,
I've read that the female sperm live longer so you should start Bd'ing after your AF ends. BD every other day then stop 3 days before you ovulate. If you have no luck that month, stop bd'ing two and a half days before O then two days before O. If you Bd the day you ovulate or the day after, it is likely to result in a boy as the male sperm can swim faster!!. Obviously i don't know how true this is but i Bd'd the day before i ovulated and the day of ovulation last time and we had a boy

Hi I have 2 boys, 4 & 8, we are also ttc a girl, I ovulate on day 10 and know this is when I have fallen before, so we BD everyday from cp4 to cp8, I am now on cp12 and have been feeling nauseas alllll day, really bad headaches and cramping for two days!! Im trying not to think its the obvious as so blinking early to get symptoms, but I also think I knew I was preganant two wks before my missed period with both my
boys, because of dizzyness, metallic taste and sore boobies.
However reading other early comments on tcc I have seen many similarities that others experience, so lets hope I did not muck up my ovulation day!!!!!!

you know what ladies there might be some thread of truth there, my first ds was a surprise, but when we were trying for our second baby, i did my opks when i thought ov was all negative, then i ran out of opks, so we bded anyway. was complete shock when got BFP anyway it turned out to be a girl. my second ds was a surprise.

so what i am trying to say is with the boys couldnt tell you about ovulating but with my daughter if i bded when opk was negative i reckon that was about 2-3 days before ovulating.

saying that i bded this cycle 2-3 days before ov, so if i get a BFP it could be a girl.

3- when is your period due (sorry not got my head around all these abbreviations yet) mine is 2nd of feb, judging by my normal cycle as just came off the pill last month, which may delay conception or may not, it's a guessing game :0)

Still getting negative OPK although they are getting darker and today ewcm more abundant. Thinking ovulation tomorrow which will be CD 17.. Am I in luck for a girl as we BD on days 14, 13, 11 & 9...? Hope hope hope so

(I have ordered a BBT & OPK and HPT from eBay so if the witch arrives I'll be all over my cycle next month

i am due around the 24th January, but ov late this month so maybe a few days after that.

my cycles are really short 26 days. I have ordered some B6 for when AF starts to try and make my lp longer. give bean a chance.

jacobnmatty, i had ewcm and ov pain two days before my pos opk and the pos opk only lasted one day.
