OPK with FMU

Gotta love abbreviations! I bought a Clear Blue digi ovulation tester, which states on the instructions that "many women find using first morning's urine most convenient." But I always thought that FMU was a no-no with OPK's. I assume the manufacturer knows what they're talking about, but has anyone used these first thing in the morning and had a result?

I did a Tesco's brand OPK this morning with FMU and was shocked to see the most positive of positive's I've had so far. Now if only my temps will rise I'll actually start to believe it!

Hey hon.

I think this may help you actually. It basically explains that overall most OPK brands recommend testing around early afternoon, but ClearBlue actually works with FMU.

I've always used CB OPKs (loads of them) with FMU and smiley has been there - i find it much easier

ive been using CB digi's for 2 cycles and i use FMU and got smileys
1st cycle i got them for 2 days, this cycle just one day

I bought the Clearblue digi and took at 10am which was negative, then i read on here not to do 1st thing in the morning so paniced, next day took at 2pm and got a smiley... so dont know which time is best
