I know a little girl named Kodi, but I prefer more traditional spellings. What do you think of a girl named Cody?

I also happen to think most boys named Jesse are very handsome. Kind of a "cowboyish" name. Opinions?

I have a niece Codi
I guess it's however you like it, I think a C looks more feminine..I also like Cody...I think that would be fine for a girl

I am so anti these types of names at the moment. I don't even have a reason. I guess I just want it to be obvious as to whether my child is a boy or girl when someone is calling their name at school, or doctors office one day.

I do prefer Cody as the spelling though.

I work with a Cori and a Ryan, both girls and I think they're names are neat and different.
Definitely like Codi over Cody for a girl.

I don't get the whole making boy names, girl names like Ryan, Cody, Finley etc I think they are very masculine

However I di think Jesse is very unisex and is nice on a boy and a girl x

Don't like Jesse or Cody for either gender really. I don't mind unisex names though. I quite like traditional boy's names on girls. Like when Rachel suggested James for a girl in Friends, I actually kind of like that

I think some names work as a unisex name and others don't. Kodi/Cody and Jesse seem fine to me but Ryan and Finley are definitly boys names. I know of men called Stacey and Lindsey and a girl called Kieran, all of which just sound wrong to me but hey, each to their own.

I like it, I like kodi. I love names that end in an i. I've got a girl with a boys name, Charlie and I've got a Tori.

If I would have known that my 2nd would be called tori then I would have spelt my 1st daughters name Charli and had them both ending with i

I don't think Kodi passes the "Senator test" but Cody just might scrape by?

Not usually a fan, but I do like the names like Riley, Taylor and Jesse for both x
