Yeah... a pointless thread but I'm so excited! I'm getting a new set of wheels!!

We returned the one we had before as it was too heavy and fiddly and ordered the babystyle Oyster in black and pink. It's so light and easy to cary up stairs but also seems pretty sturdy.

What is everyones opinions on this? I love it and can't wait to race round town with LO snuggled down in it! We got the 3 in 1 (same colours as above) so we're sorted now I think for baby stuff, everything bought!!xx

It's my hot wheels lol!

Got a tshirt for my little girl too which is the same colour As the lining and reads:
"I'm cute,
mums cute
and dads lucky!"xx

nice wheels! love it.
Can I ask what you returned? I am still researching my pushchair purchase. I haven't bought ANYTHING yet and can't wait!!!! We said we would wait for 20 week scan , which is next week (when i'm actually 21Wks+) , but its driving me nuts now - need to buy things!!! x

I have this too :D
i love it :)
Luckly they are bringing out colour packs or i'd have to put my baby boy in a black/pink pushchair lol!
xx

I returned a silvercross freeway. I was gutted! It was like a transformer and did alsorts. Unfortunately it was too heavy for me to be carrying up to our flat and I found the clips to be really awkward to disasemble it all which I would be doing daily. It was a pram which turned into a buggy and you could tell it was really well made.

But alas, it wasn't to be... But I equally love my oyster!!xx

That is adorable! Do we even have that kinda cute stuff in the USA!?

Lol I have not really checked yet! We might! I will need to google now! Lol

I'm getting the Oyster too - I'm so excited as we pre-ordered it today :happydance:

We're getting the black stroller and carrycot with grape colour packs. I've tried loads of them in the shops but this seems to have everything we're looking for

We are getting the Oyster - but are waiting for the new colour pack versions to come out.

Want to get the black frame, but not sure what colours to get for stroller and cot. Be nice to see them in the flesh, but it looks like not many places have stock of the new stuff yet.

I emailed babystyle today to see if they are going to offer the footmuffs in the new colours. They dont show it on the website, could spoil the look if this part can't be colour coded!

Thanks - its quite confusing with everything thats on the market isn;t it! I am struggling to find the one and like you, don't want anything too heavy. Will have to look into the Oyster now x

i'm getting an oyster too.

my problem is i like the current colours with mainly black and then the coloured strips (like the one in the first post) but i hate the big white e on it.

The new colour packs seem to come without the big huge e but then have too much colour for my liking!

I think i'm just going to end up getting black and then maybe get a colour pack some time in the future.

can't wait to order it though :)

Also if you're looking for lightweight an Oyster is the way to go - i live in a flat too and that's one of my main criteria and its not to expensive - unlike the super light icandy cherry!

Love it! We're going for the oyster with the colour packs, just got to decide whether we go for the oyster car seat or go for the britax or maxi cosi instead. What's everyone else gone for?

I'm the same - love the oyster but not too keen on the three original colours with the big 'e' on and not overly fussed about the colour packs either. Love the black pearl though - really stylish all in black and can dress it up with bright blankets and toys and a yummy mummy changing bag!!! we might go for a colour pack in the future too as we are team yellow, might not though. Love it in all black!!

really good system that isn't mentioned much. I preferred this greatly to the icandy which everyone is always going on about and is quite a bit cheaper!

we've gone for the maxi cosi, but only because we got it cheap 2nd hand from someone trustworthy that I work with. I think the adapters are about £15 on ebay for the maxi cosi but I don't think you need any adapters at all with the Britax from what I've heard....

The britax goes straight on the chassis - this is the one we are going for - the new one SHR2 has just been released. The shop we are ordering from said they felt the babystyle car seat was quite poor quality.

hey girls... i have my oyster, all ready to go, and all the good reviews are CORRECT!

I haven't got a baby to put in mine yet, but its the easiest thing to set up & collapse down, its light and easy to move etc. No problems at all :)

Now my only issue is finding a changing bag to match it ;)

Also, definately try and see the colours in person - the Pearl (the one i have) is very different in person than it looks online - and the covers are VERY washable for those who worry about staining etc.

Im ordering the colour packs when they are released :)
