It was on BBC "Watch" on sky/virgin etc?? keep an eye out if its repeated!! she's the jounalist that does all the weight loss method/plastic surgery programmes & is really quite funny!

she wanted to find out "the truth about labour" ! it was a bit of a reality hit seeing a couple of babies actually being born!! my OH was like "whooooooooooa!! haha!! but found it amazing which was good, not squeamish like i thought he would..

but yeah she was talking to some ladies about sex after birth etc etc & whether it was better or worse than before & then they got on to the subject of orgasm during labour!! honestly some ladies have experienced this???!!! where the babies head hits the g-spot!!?? thats crazy!!!!!! id love to know if someone on here had experienced this??..maybe i'll change my heading to draw more people in to the thread haha!!

did watch it was fascinating very good programme i have a 4 year old already (BUT) had an emergency c-section with her & am hoping for a VBAC this time so was good for me to watch not to keep on them forceps & the cut though haha

Apparently it isn't that uncommon but just not talked about since positive birth stories are something of a taboo, its not necessarily the kind of sexual orgasm you'd experience with sex but more like an ecstasy. There's a great dvd called 'Orgasmic birth' which our doula leant us, amazing and very empowering, like she says baby gets out in the same manner it got it, oxytocin high, she recommend a LOT of cuddling, smooching and playing during labour to get this going.

OMG thats amazing!!! crazy but amazing!! haha!! im not sure that kissing & cuddling is something im gona really be after during contractions though haha!! i'll probably be telling OH to get away from me lol ;0) xx
