I went to my doctors today where she prescribed me a pessary for thrush..

She then told me to make sure I didn't swallow it and that I inserted into my V. ANYWAY enough of the TMI.

I then looked at her funny as if to say why would I swallow it..

She said she saw a woman a few months ago who was wondering why the pessary wasn't working and the thrush hadn't cleared.

Turns out she was putting it in her EAR. I mean come on......

I've always wondered why they had stupid instructions on boxes like "do no swallow" on a bleach bottle or something! There are some funny people out there!!!! xx

I don't know what's funnier. The fact she put it in her ear or the fact she obviously wasn't told where it goes :nope::shrug:

LOL I literally couldn't believe it.
I couldn't believe the doctor even told me..
I hope said woman isn't on this forum ahaha!

I always thought pessaries were put in 'that' area anyway! Or am I just assuming everyone knows that lol x

omg i nearly peed myself laughing. some ppl are just unbelievable. although i might just put my sis in that ladies catagory too. the stories of my sis doing silly things are endless

why the ear?! Nothing ever goes in the ear?! Hahahahahahaha!

Very funny!
I just have to say though that instructions can be a little unclear.
Somebody on here asked for advice on how to wind LO and somebody recommended holding baby on the stomach and moving in circles as that is what they do in SCBU apparently.
I tried it and it worked but hurt my arms. Then I went to a friends house and she had her LO on her lap and was gently circling her backwards and forwards.
It was then I realised the correct way to do it.....and not to lift LO in the air in circles as I had thought.
LMAO!
