Hi girls hope you're all well

I've been suffering toothache since 12 weeks pg, I'm now almost 24weeks and as petrified as I am of dentists I dragged myself there last friday and they gave me some anti-biotics for an infection and told me to go back Tuesday to have my wisdom tooth out

I'm in so much pain it's unreal and have asked my mum to try to move the appointment to tommorow to get it out of the way. As much as I need this tooth out I'm petrified, I don't like needles at the best of times and the thought of removing my tooth makes me feel terrible.

Sorry just needed to get that out I think, I'm dreading it!

OUCH. can you possible hold out until after the baby gets here?
I got my wisdom teeth taken out the cycle I got pregnant and I'm lucky I did because if you get them taken out while pregnant the pain relief you can get during the procedure is limited and you will only be able to take tylenol afterwards and it HURTS LIKE HELL.

Atleast if you wait until after you can take the vicodin they give you.

The actual procedure isn't bad it's trying to eat and deal with it during the days afterward.

yeh i'm same im going to dentist i hate needles but i'm gona get it out ASAP,as long as you talk to the dentist tell them your concern everything will be fine.i just been brushing,hot salty water and paracetamol till my appointment then extraction hopefully same week.gona tell them i need it out as otherwise gona go MAD!

Thanks girls, had it done today...

Still a little numb and I must have made such a fool of myself, 20 years old and being sick and almost passing out in the chair Dentist was lovely though and very understanding

i dont know what to do my dentist is private but i'm a NHS patient it doesnt do treatment because they dont get funding from NHS,so was told he'd have to send off xrays and i'm antibitotics and they send them to the hospital and i should get a letter.So god knows when gona get this tooth OUT!i dont know whether to go to the walk-in-centre at the hospital and see if they can help me out cause i'm rock bottom at the mo with this abcess,migraines,and my dads just been put in hospital as hes not well.
