I've just put my Xmas cake in the oven, in a nicely greased tin, lined at the sides with greased baking paper and now I've realised I didn't line the bottom of the tin! Have I completely buggered up the cake???
what kind of tin did you use - loose bottomed or one where the side unclips?
actually what i wrote doesn't matter, but I think you should be fine. Mine came off the paper really easily as it was nice and greasy underneath so perhaps having no paper isn't so bad. Or you just need a good knife to loosen it once it's cooled
