OUCH! Biting

We've ebf since day one... its gone well considering but B has started to bite me occassionally & it bloody hurts! She has 2 bottom teeth so far.

The first time I yelped and moved her away but she just laughed - Ive tried saying no, taking breast away and also tried to ignore it... but I cant.
Its happened about once a day for the last 2 weeks

She bit me so hard this evening that I almost cried - I screamed too but again, she laughed!

Any tips? Id hoped to continue to ebf until she selfweans but I cant take much more of the biting.

my technique has been ( after my pain scream) a stern look and "NO Biting" and taking the boob away and acting like im finishing the feed putting them down and then in 4-5 min going back to the feed. its worked for me so far and he has stopped biting for the time being, she might be starting to feel her upper teeth decending which could be causing the biting and if she finds your reaction funny then that wont be helping with getting her to stop, its a phase that does stop,

keep your finger handy so you can quickly break her latch if she does bite. at 9 months shes old enough to understand its unacceptable behaviour
