My back! My back! My back!!!! Oh how my back is hurting today with the worst ever period like cramps. I had this yesterday as well but not as bad as this. I called my dr and she said if it is labor or anything else to worry about then the type of pain and the intensity will change and the cramps will because real labor contractions so I guess I am not worried that I am in labor, just more of a rant here ladies!!

I've had 2 sets of painful shooting pains in my back over the past 12 hours. They are so sore they make me jump. I presume they are just painful Braxton Hicks though.

Yea I am guessing that is what I am having is either painful braxtons hicks or just terrible back pain from the way baby is lying. I just wish I didnt have to have the period cramps along with it. I feel miserable and the kids are with me until sunday and then they go back to my ex husbands but while they are still here it is a little hard for me to rest with a 3 and 4 year old demanding me get them things all the time. Normally I hate to see the kids go with their dad for the week but at this point in my pregnancy I am to the point that I can not wait for them to go so I can enjoy my week of just resting if that is what I want to do.

Mine is too!! hurts to stand and hurts to sit/lay so im just a whiney mess today and grouchy cuz i couldnt sleep last night...i do feel for you though, its awful.

I've had this for a while - period-like cramps coupled with sciatic pain in my back and hip. barely slept on Friday past and the pain was so bad I was half convinced it was early labour - fortunately it is subsiding a bit this week, helped by hot water bottles and rest! You have my sympathy, it is hard work having back pain x
