Theres this spot on my bump that is sore. it was a few weeks before my 26wk appt i was trying to get outta bed i rolled over on my tummy trying to lift my self on all fours and then i felt sharp pain in the upper area of my belly it felt like a Charlie horse or like i pinched a nerve it was horrible and every since its comes and goes but lately the pain has be hanging around like today! i tried again to get outta bed on all fours(we have a king size bed so i have to crawl across) and the pain hit in the same spot! this time is had a burning sensation also anyone know WTH is going on? i keep wanting to ask my midwife but i feel silly bc it hard to describe really and its hardly ever sore/painful in the morning(thats when i have my appts) it usually acts up at night when my bump is the heaviest. you think its anything serious? or just a pull muscle? should i ask my midwife? sorry if this post doesnt make any sense.

I'm not sure hon :( maybe its a pulled muscle, or baby lying close to a nerve or something?

not sure.. not sure if its even worth asking my midwife or not either it does hurt but i just feel silly asking

You could have done something to a nerv i have something similar and that is what it was.

It could very well be that you pulled something, or it could be that baby just likes to kick there and has created a bruised area (it happens) or it could also be a fibroid.

ive had this hun... mine was down to bambinos knee constantly lodged in the same place which was causing a bruise type feeling... not fun

Sounds like a pulled muscle to me. I've pulled a few muscles at my old job (was a noncompetitive gymnastics and fitness instructor for kids) and after each one, I'd get that burning sensation.

You have a king size bed?? Oh, how I envy you! We only have a queen and are reluctant to replace it as we just replaced the mattress...but I keep begging for a king size because ever since I've been preggers, I LOVE to surround myself with pillows at night and poor OH gets pushed to the edge lol!

Sorry, a bit of an OT rant...but yeah, sounds like a pulled muscle...

Is the feeling gone Kayla?

PurpleKisses We are getting one too! Not soon but after the New Year when our tax return comes in! Lol We too have a queen and want a bigger bed!!! We like our room in bed!!!

I'm sorry hon! Yeah def sounds like a nerve or pulled muscle.
