I have a mireina coil fitted today and I have to admit IT BLOODY HURT, it didn't help that the doctor tried to force one that was too big up there :nope: awww god poor me my tummy hurts  sorry needed to get that out of my system  I don't think it would of been so bad if I didn't have to be on the nasty af to have it fitted, I understand it can be easier to insert but it was really humilliating led on a table with a doctor tinkering around down there when you have extremely heavy periods.

I wish there was another form off contraception I could have but I am not allowed on the pill due to being at high risk of blood clot, I tried the implant and injection but lost too much blood so this was my only resort boohoo I am dreading tomorrow ='(

I just realised that my first post wasnt offering hugs but almost like sticking my tongue out!!

Wasnt meant to be like that at all! :hugs:

I hope its not too bad for you - and even though my sister & friend said it hurt at the time, it did ease after a few days! :flower:

just some other options for u ladies. I saw my doc about the pill (im now on yasmin) but she said if this wasnt right for me she was going to try me with either the contraceptive patch its called EVRA or the contraceptive ring. Google them or ask your doc xx

I'm on my 4th mirena (3 before I had Charlie and this one fitted 6 months ago) and although it's not comfortable to have it done, I'd still recommend it to anyone.

yep, it may be painful, but thats just for a few minutes, and you only have to go through that every 5 years.

    You'll love the freedom hun.:hugs:

theyre both really common in america. I think the patch looks horrid and apparently you can feel the ring inside you when you have sex
