out of date rennies....help!

ive had really bad indigestion so my OH just found me some rennies in the cupboard, i took two but when i read the pack, the use by date was 2010! i took two, will it do any harm?!

Try not to worry too much hun but if you are ring midwife or nhs direct to ease your mind...im sure 2 wont do any harm erm not sure but i thought we werent allowed rennies when pregnant? xxx

we are allowed rennies, i take chewable ones and it says on the packet suitable for pregnancy, dont worry hun im sure it will be fine x

i'm fairly sure that expiration dates on most over the counter medicines are simply to tell you when they lose their effects, not that they go bad and will cause harm.

I have a lot of experience with this because my packrat grandparents used to give me and my brother children's chewable painkillers and sleep aids that expired like YEARS before.
