Outcome of your sweep

Has anyone had a sweep and not been dilated but the sweep has caused labour to start within 48 hours??

Went in today and was disappointed to find I wasn't at all dilated. She said she pulled my cervix forwar and managed to get the tip of her finger around (tmi!) and that that might start something in my body. But was wondering how likely.....

i had a sweep on Friday i was 1cm dilated before she preformed it the next day got wateryblood and cramps and plug coming out but now nothing,got another booked this friday. xx

You must have thought it was going to happen at any moment! How disappointing. It'll be interesting to see if you've dilated anymore by your next appointment hey. Good luck!
