So my thermometer died and I haven't replaced the battery yet, so I'm not charting this month. I usually OV between CD12 and CD14, but the last couple of cycles have been on CD11 with a 26 day cycle each time. This month I had barely stopped spotting when I started getting EWCM and started getting ovulation pain. I had a positive OPK on CD8 and 9 and my OPKs on CD10, 11, and 12 got lighter and lighter.... so it's looking like I OV'd on CD8 or 9.
Should I be concerned that my cycles are getting shorter and shorter like this?
I mean, imagine this: if I were to get a positive HPT at 10DPO I would be 2 weeks 4 days pregnant. I'm currently 8DPO and cramping like crazy. I highly doubt I'm pregnant as we had little warning before I OV'd. I mean, really? We had only a day or two between AF and ovulation. Something's not right with that. I wouldn't have believed it were it not for the positive OPKs.
BTW, I took another OPK on CD14 just to see and it was negative.
Again, my question is, should I be concerned that my cycles are getting shorter and shorter like this?
