Overfeeding.

While my lo was in hospital i asked the ped doc if it was possible to overfeed a baby and she said yes as people often just give a bottle of milk when they cry they could be thirsty.

i agree. my lo would take anything i offered him regardless of whether he was hungry or not. i have heard before that a baby will take as much as he wants and stop when his full but at 6 weeks my boy was drinking 10oz in a go (he would scream and fidget after 5 for more). he clearly didnt have that message telling him to stop then he would end up sicking it up again. iv learnt just to let the milk settle for half hour now which seems to work. they def can over feed tho.
