Ovulating at CD10??? Is this normal!?

Is it normal to ovulate this early? Iv only been monitoring my ovulation for 2 months and the first was post BCP so was about CD48 before I actually ovulated!!
My cycles are quite irregular ranging from 30 - 40 days!
Can anyone offer any advise?

Hi Michelle. Last month was the first month I used OPK's and according to that, I ovulated at cd10. My cycles however are only 24-26 days long. I'm only on cd6 today, but will start testing at cd9 again incase it's 'early'......

Iv been using a clear blue fertility monitor and it showed a high on CD 7 but then broke a day after so didn't take it as reading true and iv not ovulated since (now CD15 and iv been using the sticks twice daily since to check for LH peak) my temps dipped at CD10 and now rising so FF took it as iv ovulated so guess it's true!!

yes my cycle is 26 days and i ov on day 11
