My cycles are always 32 days on the dot. This cycle I am following an unsuccessful IUI if that matters. Anyway, the confusion started about 2 weeks ago. I started OPK's around day 17, they are always positive around day 18. They were negative so I gave it a few more days. The color changed and got darker, but I still didnt think they were positive. I called the nurse at my RE's office and she said everything should be fine. I do ovulate on my own every month. Well me and my husband started having sex just to be on the safe side. Now, it's two weeks later, and my period is due. But 3 days ago I had EWCm with blood in it and I know this is an ovulation sign, so I did an opk and it was positive. i have never ovulated this late and especially when my period is due. The opks have been positive for 3 days and we have been having sex to cover our bases.
The other night i went to pee and I wiped bright red blood. I know it wasn't my period. It may have been cervical irritation, I called the nurses again and they had me go in this morning for bloodwork. They wanted to check some hormone levels. I only bled that one time. i still have a bit of EWCM, and today I did an opk and it is still dark but I'm not sure if it's AS dark as the other line.
