Ovulation Bleeding???

Hello,

I've BD on Sept 4, 6 and 8. And I only had very light discharge on 6th & 7th, if any. Then there was no discharge yesterday. But today there's a little bit of blood in my discharge after I pee. I wonder if this is ovulation bleeding. But I mean I seldom ovulate so early in the month (today is CD 13). Can anyone tell me what's going on? If that is ovulation bleeding, do I still have a chance???

I've been using the ovulation microscope and it seems like there is no Fern pattern yet. If any, it is soooooo little. And the crazy thing is sometimes it just disppeared after a few seconds I looked into the microcope!!!

HELP!!! I really hope that I can bingo this month! But I'd have been BD everyday if I knew I was fertile in the past few days (I want to try out the SMEP this month). But I didnt' really have much discharge so far...

Wow! The exact same thing just happened to me! I usually O on day 14 - 16 but this month I had ewcm on day 11 and light spotting when I wiped! Then a dip yesterday in bbt and sharp rise today! (today is day 12) I am too scared to use an opk because if I O'd early this month it would truly be a miracle and I wouldn't want to be disappointed! Having hope just makes me happy....can't wait to hear other's responses....

Oh seems like your case is really similar to mine.

You know what, I seldom have ovulation bleeding either, just once 2 months ago and this month (i.e. if that was ovulation bleeding). Today I had a drop in BBT but not a whole lot. I'd say it's within my normal BBT range. I don't know if my BBT will rise like yours tomorrow...

I also hope that I have ovulated earlier so my LP is longer. However I'm worried that I didn't BD often enough if I was really fertile... Also I actually felt dry last night when we BD... So I'm really worried... But anyways, I'll definitely BD tonite... wonder if I should BD every day the next few days???

So how about you? Did you BD right away when you saw the light spotting? Good Luck for both of us!!!

Hey I have been searching for info about ovulation bleeding. And then I also searched for implantation bleeding to see the difference. Well I can't really tell the difference, but some people said that implanation bleeding can occur as early as 3-4 dpo???

Have anyone had such experience???

It could be ovulation spotting. I've gotten it twice in the last year and it was the tiniest amount of spotting.

I've been looking up ovulation bleeding on the internet too! I read that it is usually red or pink and some people have it for a couple of days! I've never had it and it was only a swipe on the tp....unusual because af ended 6 days ago..

My situation is a little different because dh works out of town two weeks a month....I was actually going to go on bc for a month to make my schedule coincide with his...as it is he leaves a couple of days before O...but if I've truly o'd this early bc won't be neccessary! We bd'd on cd 8 and 9 and I believe I've ovulated on cd 11....maybe we'll get lucky this month! Stranger things have happened, right? I also use preseed....we LOVE it!! This is our 2nd month using it...

Unfortunately, dh left for work the day before I had the OB....you should try preseed if you feel dry! Have you ever tried it?

I had ovulation spotting on my last several cycles.. it was literally like one or two drops on the toilet paper.

I got it several days before ovulation.. usually 2, once I think I even saw it 3 days before. hope that helps! I read that the spotting can happen from both eggs bursting out but also from the hormones that are starting to surge prior to ovulation etc.

I haven't tried preseed, but I'm using sth called "pre". I guess it is similar stuff cuz it says it won't harm sperm.

But yes it's weird. I've been taking chasteberry for a few months. And in the previous months, I had more CM so I knew when I was fertile (thanks chasteberry!). I've also started to drink a dose of Robitussin syrup daily these few days to increase my CM. I'm just trying out the SMEP this month... hm... hopefully it's not the Rotitussin that is affecting the CM. But yes, this month I didn't notice much CM, not yet. According to my history, I wouldn't be having CM until 1/2 days later anyways. Surprisingly, I had ovulation spotting yesterday, which would be too early if I was going to ovulate yesterday. I looked it up and it says usu ovulation spotting occurs right before / after ovulation...

Anyways, I really hope that this is our month! You and I should get lucky despite all these strange things! Babydust!!!

You gave me hope! I'll be BD these few days just in case I haven't ovulated yet. Well I just don't know why I don't have as much cm as the previous months. AND theoretically, I won't be fertile until tomorrow. Anyways, I'll just try my best these few days, despite this strange experience.

I've found very pale pink CM up by my cervix today....I had +tive OPK today & yesterday, does this sound like Ovulation spotting? It's not in my knickers or when I wipe, just high up and so pale it only shows pink when I put it on tissue paper (but it is very definitely pink).

btw, I used the microscope to see if I ovulated again and still no fern this morning. There is some more dots than usual but still no fern yet... can it mean that I'm fertile? I don't know.

But then I saw some clear/ white discharge when I pee again this morning. hm... if so, maybe my fertile period just started? It's so strange, I thought the ovulation spotting is suppose to come when I ovulate (according to what I found online anyways)...

Anyways, I guess we should BD everyday these few days???

but to tell if the discharge is fertile, you have to touch it or at least see if it will stretch... color doesn't mean much of anything.

The spotting can come from hormone surges, not just from ovulation.
What cycle day are you?

Yes... I did try to stretch. It did stretch a little. Does this mean I'm fertile? I can't really tell the difference that much... hm... But since I don't have much CM anyways apart from a few days each month, so I suppose thats when I ovulate. Hopefully I'm right...

And thanks for telling me more about spotting! I'm TTC for #1 and I really don't know much about all these. Thats why I have to ask here and look it up online. Today is CD 14. I know the ovulation day can vary from month to month and is different for everybody. But I seemed to ovulate on CD 16-19 in the past few months...

Oh and I saw under your login name that you're pregnant with #1??? Congratulations!!! How long did it take before you got pregnant? I really hope that I'll also be pregnant with #1 soon!

And yes the San Bruno fire is so scary. I watched that on the news a few hours last nite.. You know I actually live in N. CA too but luckily I live about 35 miles away from San Bruno. So yes I'm safe.

My husband has a friend living in San Bruno. At 1st when I saw the fire is in San Bruno I was so scared. His friend just has a baby too. Luckily after checking, they don't live by the hill in San Bruno. So they're safe! It is just so scary to see all that fire going!

Glad you're far enough away! I was born and raised in San Jose, so even though I'm down south now, N. CA is where my heart is! (I don't know you IRL, do I? lol... keeping a low profile with this pregnancy for now in the real world... would be funny if it turns out you were my cousin or something)

It took me almost a full year to get pregnant. I charted my BBT, was having an anovulatory cycle, went on clomid, had low progesterone... blah blah.. it was a long saga, lol.
This is my first time being pregnant officially (I suspect I've had 2 chemical pregnancies but lost them super early possibly due to low progesterone).


Sounds like your cycles have been pretty irregular? Have you considered charting your temps? Its SO helpful to know for sure that you have ovulated and know when your period is due instead of if you're just having a longer cycle!
How long have you been trying.


The REALLY fertile CM stretchs SOO much, truly like eggwhites though everyone is different too and gets different amounts. I can always tell when its definitely fertile, but sometimes it seems borderline and for the life of me, I can't really tell creamy and sticky apart.

And yes, that's why I have to go online. I also don't want my real life friends/ family to know that I'm TTC, cuz I don't know when I'll be successful... And I don't want them to keep asking about that...

btw, I actually have pretty regualr cycles, always between 30-31 days except last month, which was 33 days. I was going to believe that I would have a BFP. But no... period was just late suddenly.

I have started to chart my BBT too. But my temp does not drastically rise after ovulation (it's more like a gradual rise before drastically dropping on the onset of AF). I read the book "taking charge of your fertility", but I am not very certain about how to count the consecutive temp to determine ovulation if my BBT doesn't rise drastically after O. So I think CM seems to be easier for me.

Anyways, we've been trying since March. I am getting mroe & more desperate. And every month after AF arrived, I bought more supplements/ book... or just anything. This would make me feel better. So hopefully....I'll be pregnant very soon. I really want to get pregnant naturally w/o the help of Dr/ specialists....

I'm glad to hear that you're pregnant eventually. This gives me hope. I really hope that I'll be the next one. Then we can talk about pregnancy instead of TTC
